History of Abortion
In the United States, the history of abortion goes back much farther than the 1973 Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade, which made abortion legal and marked an important turning point in public health policy. During the 1800s, all surgical procedures, including abortion, were extremely risky, and hospitals weren't common so that was a high risk of danger. Most people in the United State does not know that what is like to need an abortion, before the legalization. In additionally women who could afford to pay doctors skilled or go to another country had the safest and easiest abortions. In conclusion ninety percent of unsafe abortions are in developing countries.
